March 28, 2019 | Our crew had a wonderful time this week in Athens, GA working at Sandy Creek Park with Athens-Clark County (ACC). We covered three miles of trail and our project partners from ACC grilled food for the crew one of the days. Our crew had a wonderful time getting to know each other around camp fires in a fire ring and dinners. This experience so far has been very enlightening as to what is "trail work" and also fun. I highly recommend the Southeast Conservation Corps and AmeriCorps.
