September 15, 2023 | Chattanooga, TN - The City of Chattanooga has been awarded a grant of $6 million from the United States Department of Agriculture for partnering with stakeholders in disadvantaged communities to grow and maintain urban forests, green space, and waterways.

July 31, 2023 - Join the Blue Ridge Bartram Trail Conservancy and Backlot Cinema on our twelfth section of the 110-mile Bartram Trail. On this relatively short hike from Lake Nantahala to Appletree Campground, we learn a little about how the Blue Ridge Bartram Trail maintains all 110 miles of trail. We also meet some of the Southeast Conservation Corps Crew who spent 16 weeks working on the trail, engaging in meaningful education and service to the community. June 23, 2023 | Opelika, AL - The City of Opelika is moving forward with improvements and additions to Creekline Trails, a multi-use recreational trail along the banks of Pepperell Branch off Waverly Parkway and U.S. Highway 280.

This crew is designed specifically for young people with an interest in Cultural Resource Management to gain hands on experience before entering the job market.
