Walking With Bartram - Section Hike #12 - Lake Nantahala to Appletree Campground
July 31, 2023 - Join the Blue Ridge Bartram Trail Conservancy and Backlot Cinema on our twelfth section of the 110-mile Bartram Trail. On this relatively short hike from Lake Nantahala to Appletree Campground, we learn a little about how the Blue Ridge Bartram Trail maintains all 110 miles of trail. We also meet some of the Southeast Conservation Corps Crew who spent 16 weeks working on the trail, engaging in meaningful education and service to the community. Volunteers are the backbone of maintaining the Bartram Trail! Find out how you can help make a difference!

Chattanooga seeks $13 million to boost tree coverage in disadvantaged parts of the city
